The wires take the power from the battery to light the bulb. A series circuit is one path where wires go from the battery to the bulb and if you take away one bulb the rest will go out where with a parallel circuit the wires are side by side and ie you take away one bulb the rest will not go out.

1.When a battery has 2 wires 1 on top 1 on the bottom and conects to a light bulb showing that the light bulb will work.
2.A parallel circut has more than 1 battery and is going parellel and you can remove 1 bulb without the other light going out a series circut has 1 battery and if u remove 1 bulb the other 1 will go out.

Dear Miss Bonham
How is a series circuit different
than parallel circuit?
A series circuit has one wire hooked up to the battery and the light bulb. If you take a light bulb out the circuit will stop.
A parallel circuit has more wires, batterys, and light bulbs. If you take one of the light bulbs out the circuit keeps going and it last longer.

a paralell circit is when you have two dcell and 2 wires and two bulb if you put the by coneting the batterys through the wires to the bulbs. If you take a bulb out it will not go out. A series circit
battery, wire, bulb if you put them together they work if you take the bulb off i t won't work by:Devonte
It was intesting to learn that the bulb will still work on a parallel circuit even if you take one away. It works because it has its own battery.
1. A circuit works by using a battery, two wires, and a light bulb. The battery powers the lightbulb through the wires.
2. The difference between the cirucits is the parellel circuit has two wires that connect the light bulbs, if one light bulb goes out the other light bulb will still light. A series circut has one wire that connects the battery, switch, and light bulbs, if one light bulb goes out the circuit is broken and the other bulb will not work.
It is realy cool because on the sceres circuts if you take out 1 light bulb the ohter 1 still stays on
You put a wire on the + and - side then get an other wire conntect it from the batterie and into the light bolb and that is how a cicuit work but the diffrence between the siries and parallel circuit a series circuit has less wires and when you take out one of the two light bolbs th circuit is over the other when the light bolb the light os still on
Dear mrs bonham
How do a circuit works?
A circuit with a battery, wires, light bulb.
What is the different between a parallel circuit and a series?
A parallel
Runs side by side. They are attached line. you can remove one of the light bulb it would not go out.If you add more then one it would not be brighter. But it would last longer.
A seires circuit
Is continousy line if you take one of the lights out it would not work
---------------dazia---------------
if you take a lightblob out of the circuit it will mass it up.A parallel circuit is when you take out a lightbulb out of the circuit and the other lights wont work andrew
dear miss bonham
a series circut is diffretnt then a parallel circut because if you take a light bulb out a series circut the light will go off but not with a parallel circut
the battery give elctricity to the lamp but the wire is the curcuit its self. a series curciut has 1 path. a parrel curciut has more than 1 path.
jarod
seris is connected you can add more batterys to add more power. You can add more lights as well if one light goes out the circuit will be broken. A seris circuit is one path where wires go from the battery to the light bulb.
a series cicut is ftwo wires thar take the power from the battery to thr light bulb. but if you take one light out then it will shut down the whole intire cicut off. but if you put one light bulb back on then then you turn back on the ciciut.
and a parallel cicut is a cicut that has two wires that are sidde by side .but when you take one light bulbthe light will not go out.
1.If you have a batterie with two wires and conect them to the top and bottom. The electricity flows therw it to the light bulb and it works! 2. The thing that is differnt parallel circuit has two batteries and the electricityflows therw and you take one light bulb out and it still works!!Casey
A series circuit will work if you have both lightbulbs working. If one stops working the other won't work because the circuit was broken.
A parallel circuit will continue to work if one bulb is lost because there are two circuits.
Taylor
The difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit is the parallel circuit has two batteries, two light bulbs, and one switch. when one bulb is taken out the other bulb stays on.
The serises circuit has only one battery and two light bulbs. when one light bulb is taken out the other bulb gose out.
How dose a circuit work?
A circuit works with a battery , wires, a switch and two light bulbs.

a circuit works with a power source, lightbulb and a switch.
series circuit-one continuous line more battery will increase the power but if one lightbulb goes out they all go out.
parallel circuit-wires run side by side. The light bulb is attached in separate lines you can remove one lightbulb without breaking the circuit. Drake Hawkins
a series circuit if you take out the light bulb they will but with a parrell circuit it wont.
