Hi this is me Adam and I am here to talk about what we are doing in science. This quarter we are doing electricity with wires and all that fun stuff. I am going to talk about series curcuits. A series curcuit is a curcuit that if you take out one light bulb all of the lights go out. And a perallel curcuit is a curcuit that if you take out one light bulb all the other lights stay on. Did you know that magnitisum is used in electricity by attaching one magnet to a pole and do the same thing with the other attach them together and they spin making a motor or a genorator. Thats all we have learned so far BYE.

Virtual Field Trip

Dear Electricians in training,
You have the unique pleasure of taking a "virtual field trip" to a water plant. In the video, an electrician from a water treatment plant will show you how electricity makes the plant run,which in turn supplies people with drinking water in their homes. You also need to watch the electric safety video (taken from Electricity and Magnetism, courtesy of United Streaming).
Your assignment is, first, to watch both videos, then use your questioning skills to ask the electrician about the plant or his job. He will answer you, so make sure they are good questions. :)
Have fun watching the videos, you will see many different concepts about electricity that we have learned already. The questions are due by THIS THURSDAY (December 18th). SoI think it is the second quarter of school not sure yet. But I'm having a good time in school again making friends so let me tell you about Mrs.Bonham. Shes a really nice teacher and she teaches us things like how to learn long division. Its really neat because we all think she is a magician becasue she did a trick for long divison it was cool. In the mean time last night I saw Mrs.Bonahm at the mitten, Im hoping to past the 4th grade. I dont know what happened to me yesterday for the reading test but I know Mrs.Bonham is going to teach me more for reading. And still what we are reading is The people of sparks its very good. Mrs. Bonham is a very nice teacher and a smart teacher she is really fun. This year mrs. bonham is teaching us things that we have never even so before.When mrs. bonham showed us all these things we learned alot and she wants us remember it for the EOG testing progam so we can be ready. Track Out!

In two days on November 7, our class will be tracking out. This time we will have an extra long track out because of Thanks giving. So instead of three weeks out, we have four weeks out. Tomorrow (the 7th) Mrs.Bonham is going to write a list of things we have to do to clean up the class room for Ms.Knox. Once we track back in, we will be in school for two weeks. Then we have Christmas break for two more weeks. That's why I like track two the most.

Whats going on in school

In school yestarday we had a 2 hour dalay because our school is a voting
area. So when we got to school we did math for a little bit and then team time then lunch but we didn't have recess. So today I herd Barak Obama has been elected president. But Obama isn't president until january the first. My whole family voted McCain we were sad. Today we have readers theater it is a fun special because it's like doing a play. After that we have team time this time i'm in Mrs. Bonhams class. After team time we finish math but I do this thing clalled think tac toe. After that me and abigal go to Miss lynches class to help the first graders with there homework. After that we come back and the class might be working on social studies. or getting ready to go to lunch. Then we go to recess. Then we do read aloud were reading people of sparks. Then we might do reading or english I like english better. were learning compund sentances and formulas. Like ssvv , ssv , svv and sv. Then it's writing were writing autobiogerfys. I don't know how to spell it please leave it as a commit so I can spell it. in social studies were making a book of rights and responabilities. My partner writes right I write responsabilities. in school we did kids voting I voted for McCain. I'm mad at the people that voted for Obama. We have this gretting called the snowball gretting it's when we get a peace of paper and write our name on it then crumble it up and through it in the middle of the meeting circle/ovol. We try to do our best to keep the room clean And thats whats going on in school.

What I do in school is mostly do things with my class. The class mostly like math and science. Our teacher like to see good grade we try to get great grades. We will try our best with in grades. Hi i'm Karsie well Karsyn let me tell you about my class. My class is awesome it is the best class of my life. The kids are so helpful here they don't tease they are so sweet. I love this class and teacher. Mrs. Bonham is the best teacher i've ever had this class is fun when we do group work it gets a little off hand but soon works out fine. When you try making a friend in Mrs. Bonham's class it's really easy. I love to play with all my friends in this class. I like doing group work because it gives you a chance to work with other people and see what they can do and what they can't. It tells you how good they are at stuff and how not good. The change

I was in a track 4 and I passed my other grade. Then when the school give me a note who my teacher is for fourth grade, it said track is 2. That meant I don't get to see my old friends. When I came to my new class I saw some people that I knew, their names were Andrew and Taylor. I made new friends Jarod, Simon, and other people.Then in a few weeks, I got along with everyone. Sometimes when you switch class, you think it's bad but in a few weeks, you make new friends.

Spirit Week

This week is spirit week at school. Every day we wear something different. Today is school spirit day were we wear our school colors, blue and gold. Tomorrow is college day were we wear something like a tee-shirt supporting your favorite college. Wednesday is twin day were we dress like a friend. Thursday is mix-match day. We wear things that do not match at all. Friday is dress to impress or picture day. This is just one of the fun things our school does during the year.

What I'm Learning In Social Studies

I'm learning about the presidental election in social studies and yesterday Ms.Bonham put us in groups and we made a small paper and a huge paper the small paper was we had to glue a picture of the canidents and we had to write the promises they told us in the convention and the debate the big paper was a huge paper then after Ms.Bonham gave us all kind of articals and photos about the canidents and one person from each group had to go to the computer and go to the time for kids website and look up presidental election and other stuff about the

Improv is my favorite Morning Meeting game. It is when 2 people stand in the middle of the circle and the teacher gives them a situation. The 2 people have to act out the situation. Sometimes people get crazy. It's very funny. I really enjoy it.

we have been talking about factors and multiples. my favorite thing is the multiplication because it is my favorite and I really enjoy it. we are also talking about commutative property.I like commutative property because it is just like turn around facts. What I Have Leared In 4th Grade

So far what I have leared in 4th grade is how to do factors and multiples for math. And for reading what I have learned is metacognition and that means to be thinking about what your thinking about. About me and school

Hi I'm Karsyn but everybody just calls me Karsie now let me tell you about me. I love to learn math I like it because you can learn new stratagies. My favorite thing in math is factors and multiples. I love hanging out with my friends at school we come up with all sorts of ideas. I also like swimming but it's not as much fun without my friends. In english we are doing simple sentences and compound sentences. I love this school year so far it has been fun. My friends and I love playing tag it's so fun I can't wait till we go outside everyday because we might play tag. Mrs. Bonham is the best teacher I could get out of all the other ones. Morning work is tough to complete some times it's because it's to hard or people just want to talk to there friends. I almost can't wait till after the bell. So far my class is doing a cold acid test to see if rocks have calcite. If a rock has calcite it will bubble that is all we know so far. The asid we are using is vinager. The two rocks that have bubbled are calcite and quartz.

What we learning in school is factors.I like factors and also coumutive proptery because they teach you math.I think ms.bonham is a nice teacher we learn lots of stuff Ms.bonham teaches me lot of things. Exciting Experiment

I am trying to be more "tech savvy" in today's world. One of my friends showed me her class blog, and I decided to take her idea. (Thanks Ms. Knox..)
