From the teacher

Dear class,
I am so glad that you have enjoyed doing the blog. I have really enjoyed reading it - I enjoy seeing the class from your perspective. Now as we go into our four week track out (yeah!) I hope that you will enjoy spending time with your family. When you come back, I know you will be ready to learn that long division we started practiciing before we left, and also what will happen to Lina and Doon in the People of Sparks. But, I just wanted you to know that I love being your teacher and I am excited that we get to learn together.:)

Track Out!

In two days on November 7, our class will be tracking out. This time we will have an extra long track out because of Thanks giving. So instead of three weeks out, we have four weeks out. Tomorrow (the 7th) Mrs.Bonham is going to write a list of things we have to do to clean up the class room for Ms.Knox. Once we track back in, we will be in school for two weeks. Then we have Christmas break for two more weeks. That's why I like track two the most.

Whats going on in school

In school yestarday we had a 2 hour dalay because our school is a voting
area. So when we got to school we did math for a little bit and then team time then lunch but we didn't have recess. So today I herd Barak Obama has been elected president. But Obama isn't president until january the first. My whole family voted McCain we were sad. Today we have readers theater it is a fun special because it's like doing a play. After that we have team time this time i'm in Mrs. Bonhams class. After team time we finish math but I do this thing clalled think tac toe. After that me and abigal go to Miss lynches class to help the first graders with there homework. After that we come back and the class might be working on social studies. or getting ready to go to lunch. Then we go to recess. Then we do read aloud were reading people of sparks. Then we might do reading or english I like english better. were learning compund sentances and formulas. Like ssvv , ssv , svv and sv. Then it's writing were writing autobiogerfys. I don't know how to spell it please leave it as a commit so I can spell it. in social studies were making a book of rights and responabilities. My partner writes right I write responsabilities. in school we did kids voting I voted for McCain. I'm mad at the people that voted for Obama. We have this gretting called the snowball gretting it's when we get a peace of paper and write our name on it then crumble it up and through it in the middle of the meeting circle/ovol. We try to do our best to keep the room clean And thats whats going on in school.

Sharing

At Morning Meeting 3 people get a chance to bring one of there favorite things from home and share why they like it. Then they call on 3 people, each person asks one question or coment. They can also ask to pass the thing there sharing around, but that question doesn't count. If someone asks to pass it around the person who is sharing doesn't have to. Written by Lane.

what i do in school

What I do in school is mostly do things with my class. The class mostly like math and science. Our teacher like to see good grade we try to get great grades. We will try our best with in grades. We will try our best for our teacher and she will try for us to. She is the best teacher I ever had. -stephen
